The beginings of Stacey’s Aylana Rose Designs.
Soon after buying a family home with her husband, Stacey’s spouse left her with two children and a high mortgage to cover on her own.
Stacey soon met a man who she first thought was her ‘knight in shining armour’. However, he soon emerged as an abusive partner who demanded her money. Stacey struggled to pay bills and lived in fear of the regular visits from bailiffs.
After ten years Stacey was finally able to break free of her abuser. However, by this point her credit history was virtually non-existent and no traditional lender would help Stacey.
Stacey had always had a creative flair, making jewellery out of various mediums over the years. Stacey wanted to begin a jewellery-making business, using silver and gold-smithing. However, no traditional lenders would see past the poor credit history, which was making the venture untenable.
Purple Shoots looked beyond the bad credit history and saw the enthusiasm and creativity Stacey showed. Backed by a Purple Shoots loan Aylana Rose Design has got off to a flying start and Stacey is enjoying using her newly discovered smithing skills.
